Local Film Commission

The mission of the Local Film Commission (LFC) consists of providing a free logistic and technical assistance service to all production companies or independent directors, in the set up of their film projects (fiction, documentary, animation, video clip, advertisement, streaming program).
It is the first anchor point for local, national and international film production companies.

It is made up of 2 people.
It is a member of the national network filmFrance since 2006 and can therefore benefit from an international connection, an incredible synergy and professionnal work and communication tools.

Concretely, it offers an « à la carte » service in regards to each projects' specific needs:

• Scenery research (pre-selection with photographs and technical notes, setting up of a scenery database)
• Advice and assistance in the choice of topics and the preparation of the filming's plannings
• Administrative procedures (filming authorisation, official mails)
• Interface with the political, customary and administrative authorities
• Registering of the figurants, actors and technicians (to this day over 4,000 people registered in our files)
• Castings organisation (publication of press releases, prior phoning and registering of candidates)
• Logistical help : preferential tariffs and bookings at accommodations and transports, registering of various providers and services, accessories and equipment research, etc.

The LFC also possesses professionnal machinery gear freely available to productions - under some conditions.
